Rajasthan Culture Tour

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival, after clearing your immigration & customs. You will be met by our airport facilitation
staff carrying a placard of your name in a visitor’s arrival hall. You will be greeted and transferred to
your hotel with the necessary assistance.

Day 02: Delhi

After morning breakfast we will introduce to your Delhi guide for full day sightseeing of Old and
New Delhi famous tourist places – visit Qutab Minar- one of the tallest tower of its time,
Humanyun’s Tomb -the mausoleum of the great Mughal emperor “Humayun”, drive past India
Gate and President House and other government buildings, Red Fort – a symbol of mighty Mughal
empire, Jama Masjid- one of the biggest mosques in India, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat (Mahatma
Gandhi’s Memorial).
Overnight at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa (265 KM / 05 Hrs)


Morning drive to Mandawa a city located in the Shekhawati region of North Rajasthan famous for
Fresco paintings. Check-in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Havelis. These Havelis are museums in
themselves, numerous Havelis built by the rich merchants as their residence in 18th and 19th

Day 04 : Mandawa – Jaipur (260 KM / 5 Hrs)

Morning drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to relax or
enjoy to optional activities like local shopping.

Day 05 : Jaipur

Early Morning proceeds to visit Monkey Temple – A pre-historic pilgrimage site, is located only
10km away from Jaipur. One of the jewels of Jaipur, the temple complex encompasses natural fresh
water springs and 7 holy 'kunds' or water tanks. Among these kunds, the 'Galta Kund', is the holiest
one and is believed to never get dry. A spring of pure water flows from the 'Gaumukh', a rock
shaped like a cow's head, into the tanks.
You will also visit Milk Market – This market comes alive at 6 AM with milk sellers congregating
here. Most sellers collect milk from their own villages or from the nearby villages. They usually load
large milk cans onto local buses or jeeps to bring them to the market. Many of them prefer to carry
these milk jars onto their bikes & rides all the way to such markets from their respective villages.
Following breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort: the former capital of the royal
Rajputs. Few fail to be moved by the dramatic Rajput grandeur of this hilltop fortress-palace 11-km
north of Jaipur. Set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the
palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake, and its sprawling crenellated
walls lattice the surrounding hills.
Drive past / Photo Stop of Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, a five-storied structure of pink
sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of
the old city. It was built in 1799 so that veiled royal woman could peer down unseen by the world
through its 593 stone screens. We proceed for a guided tour of the City Palace – The City Palace in
the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is
a seven storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens and the city.
Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur – Pushkar (130 Km / 03 Hrs)

After breakfast start drive to Pushkar – Holy city for Hindu’s. Arrive Pushkar and check in at hotel.
Afternoon visit famous Brahma Temples & Pushkar Lake.
Overnight at Pushkar.

Day 07: Pushkar –Ajmer – Udaipur (300 Kms / 6 Hrs)

After breakfast Morning depart Pushkar proceed for Udaipur en-route visit Ajmer – one of the most
important centers of pilgrimage for India’s Muslims. Later drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and
check in at hotel.
Evening enjoy Boat ride in Lake Pichola.

Overnight at Udaipur.

Day 08: Udaipur Depart

After Breakfast proceed for the city tour of Udaipur visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Museum and
Saheliyon ki Bari.
Later you will be departure transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
